Kampor, Croatia - holiday information

Kampor, Rab, Croatia – visitor information

A fishing village located on the north-western side of the island. It got its name by the Latin word campus meaning field. It is considered one of the greenest parts of the island ad there is a park-forest Kalifront in the vicinity where you can ran into deers or musk ox. Local transportation in the village is not frequent so a car is an advantage if you wish to spend your vacation in Kampor. You can find accommodation in apartments, rooms and boarding houses and it is ideal for families with children because of the long sandy beach Mel. There is a diving centre in the village so it is an ideal choice for those who want to dive and research the depths of the Adriatic. One more interesting thing is the Franciscan monastery St. Euphemia with ethnographic collection that we recommend you visit, and gastronomic lovers should visit the beach bar Mel.
